| NASA technicians first saw this image of Dr. Sagan forming to the right of the rover in the virgin sands on the Red Planet Wednesday. Biologists from the Sagan cloning team believe the Martian sands contain unusual minerals that may be synergistically acting with the ambient radiation to increase DNA replication. "Cellular nucleation similar to crystallization has often been hypothesized as a mechanism for chemical evolution of life on Earth" Dr. Campione stated at the press briefing."It is ironic that Carl often spoke of this means of life generation - now it appears to be fueling his life force process on the Red Planet he so loved and longed all his life to visit." | |
